Michelin Stars and Open Source Ag Excellence

Thinking about food, stars, and farms. How we imagine our contribution as food lovers and growers.

How Open Source Ag Stars are Imagined

One Star: The grow-to-donate social community and events are considered “very good in their category” having a quality menu and grows, shares, prepares, and distributes food and cuisine to a consistently high standard.

Two Stars: Open Source Ag has excellent cuisine, grown and distributed in a unique and eco-friendly way, and has something exceptional to offer – it’s “worth a detour” to visit while traveling.

Three Stars: Okay, this is a stretch. Open Source Ag collaborates and grows exceptional, healthy, and organic and offers classes, events, and community; thus “worth a special journey” just to visit. Rather than being a stop on the way to a destination, this farm is the destination. This community serves distinct dishes and activities that are executed to perfection.
